A complete vaporizer skid system
The capacity of our systems ranges from small flows below 1,000 Nm3/h to larger flows above 30,000 Nm3/h.
We can supply prefabricated systems, mounted as one or more units on beam structure, or separate parts for site assembly. With the wide capacity range, our systems can be used for regasification at terminals as well as with individual customers with lower consumption.
Our systems consist of the following parts:
Heating system for energy supply to the vaporizer
The heating system consists of a water circulation circuit with pump and heat source. The heat source is either steam or water for example from a district heating network. For heating with steam, we use a unit that injects the steam at supersonic speed into the circulating water. This technology eliminates steam hammer and provides a very good control function of supplied energy. If the energy comes waterborne, for example from a district heating network, we instead use a conventional plate heat exchanger in the water circulation circuit.
Vaporizer that heats and evaporates the liquid and heats the gas
The vaporizer is of the Plate & Shell type for compact mounting on a skid, or alternatively of the Shell & Tube type. We can also offer vaporizers with double tubes for increased safety and detection of leakage.
We can also handle systems with pump and pipe installation for transporting the cryogenic liquid from tank to vaporizer. Like other equipment, the pump installation can be prefabricated and delivered ready for installation on a skid.
If desired, the system can be supplemented with extra subsystems for pressure control, quick shut-off or safety valves, etc. based on your needs.
